The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has officially launched its Women Wing membership campaign for 2026 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). Under the leadership of the newly elected President, Shaheen Kausar Dar, the wing is shifting toward a digital-first approach to ensure every woman in the region has a voice in the upcoming general elections.

In a historic move to modernize the party’s reach, membership is now open to all women from AJK through virtual and digital forums. This digital transformation allows women from remote valleys and urban centers alike to register, participate in policy discussions, and join leadership training without geographical barriers. By utilizing these forums, the PPP aims to bypass traditional hurdles to female political participation, such as limited mobility and conservative societal norms.
