Mrs. Faryal Talpur President Women Wing and Incharge Political Affairs Pakistan Peoples Party

The women of Pakistan especially the courageous and resilient women of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, have always stood as symbols of dignity, sacrifice, strength, and unwavering hope. From the valleys of Kashmir to the plains of Sindh, from the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan to the coasts of Balochistan, the women of our country have continued to shape families, communities, and nations with patience, wisdom, and determination despite enormous social, political, and economic challenges.

The Pakistan Peoples Party has always believed that no nation can progress unless its women are empowered, respected, educated, and given equal opportunities to lead. This vision was laid by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who gave the people of Pakistan a democratic voice and recognized the strength and potential of women as equal partners in nation-building. That vision reached its historic pinnacle under Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the daughter of the East and the pride of the Muslim world, who broke every barrier of fear, prejudice, and dictatorship to become the first woman Prime Minister of the Islamic world. Her life was not merely a political journey, but a global message that women can lead nations with courage, wisdom, compassion, and democratic conviction.

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto devoted her life to democracy, human rights, social justice, and women empowerment. She inspired millions of women across Pakistan and beyond to believe in themselves, to participate in public life, and to raise their voices against oppression and inequality. Her sacrifice remains a beacon of hope for every woman struggling for dignity, representation, and justice.

Today, under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Pakistan Peoples Party proudly carries forward this historic mission of empowering women, protecting democratic values, and strengthening the federation through inclusivity, equality, and people-centric policies. President Asif Ali Zardari has always stood firmly for democratic continuity, constitutional supremacy, and political reconciliation, while Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari represents the aspirations of a progressive, inclusive, and modern Pakistan where women and youth stand at the center of national development.

The women of Azad Jammu & Kashmir hold a unique and honorable place in this struggle. Kashmiri women have endured conflict, uncertainty, sacrifices, and hardships with remarkable courage. Yet they continue to preserve their identity, educate future generations, and contribute actively to social and political progress. Their resilience is a source of inspiration not only for Pakistan but for women across the world who struggle for peace, justice, and self-determination.

As President of Pakistan Peoples Party Women Wing, I firmly believe that empowering women is not a slogan but it is a responsibility, a commitment, and a pathway toward a peaceful and prosperous society. We envision a future where every girl has access to education, every woman has economic opportunity, every mother receives dignity and protection, and every daughter can dream without fear. Women must not only participate in society; they must lead it.

The PPP Women Wing remains committed to strengthening women at the grassroots level through political participation, education, skill development, social welfare, healthcare access, and legal awareness. We will continue to stand beside widows, working women, students, mothers, minorities, and women from marginalized communities because our politics is rooted in service to humanity.

Our message to the women of AJK, Pakistan, and the world is clear: your voice matters, your struggle matters, and your leadership matters. Women are not merely the backbone of society , they are its conscience, its strength, and its future.

Let us continue together on the path of democracy, peace, equality, and empowerment envisioned by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Let us build a society where women are respected not for convenience, but as a matter of right and principle.

With unity, courage, and determination, we can shape a future where every woman stands empowered, every child stands protected, and every citizen stands equal before the law.
